| I did not like what I saw with my friends' children in the public schools (and the violence I saw when driving past the playgrounds) so I homeschooled my children from K-12. So they got the best I could give them. |

| Of course not. Studies have proven time after time that small classes, in small schools get the best results. What do americans do? Build "bigger better" schools. |

| No, to many kids in school are worried about to many things other than school and not enough administrators are doing thier jobs in insuring that our children are getting the education in which they deserve |

| so far, so good. My child is in the 7th grade and I feel that his school has been very good in keeping him stimulated, and enjoying his school years! |

| my daughter is 25 now...3 years ago she has graduated fron the Pedagigical university ( the english-japanese faculty)..i believe it to be a good education...and rather modern in Russia(i mean for a girl!) |

| I think that there should be an age that a teacher HAS to retire. Make room for the upcoming teachers to teach the New ways to do school work. |

| Many times I see the U.S. school system as a governmentally controlled "Memory Developement" system. The kid is not learning how to think, explore, understand different approaches or, confidently realize their answers are right for them. |

| I am referring to my grand children.No they are not getting the best education, teachers are not as aware of their poistion as they were when I was a chjld. Teachers in my time toke pride in their work, and was proud when a child they had taught WAS A SUCESS. because they knew that they were a part of that sucess. |
