| | | What is your greatest challenge as a parent of a child/teenager in school? As a parent we all have them. What's yours? | | | | children lying | | | | to much homework, seems to me that something is going on in the classrooms that the work is not being done in school and kids have hours of homework | | | | keeping kids interested in school | | | | Being able to work, go to school myself and be there for them in all thier extracuricular activities as well. | | | | safty, my son dropped out in the 9th because other gangs would want to fight he could not take the presure and now he has a chip on his shoulder and doe's not have the education that he should have. school did nuthing and they just don;t care paents need to get involed with there schools to make sure that these kids are learning and not beeing hurasted, this brings back a lot of things even from my past | | | | Grouping up to fast | | | | pear pressure | | | | Keeping thier focus on school instead of a social life | | | | na | | | | N/A | | | | Hoping they will grow out of thier "attitudes" before they harm themselves. | | | | d | | | | lazy | | | | ive sometimes get calls from the school about all 3 of my children.ive goota tell them to get your homework done. or i help them.i have 2 boys1 girl. | | | | To keep her from drinking and doing drugs. | | | | Hoping their be leaders not followers and have a mind of their owe. Instilling self-confidence in self-worth, leadership. | | | | Right now my oldest is 8 and in 2nd grade so i would say ..so far... the greatest challenge is makeing sure they are treated well and getting the education they need! | | | | To much homework,should teach in school, have chores at home to keep out of trouble. | | | | SINCE THEY ARE GOING THROUGH THE TEENAGE/ADULT TRANSITION ITS' HARD TO GET THEM TO OPEN UP ALL OF THE TIME. THATS WHY YOU NEED TO BE VERY CLOSE TO YOUR CHILDREN AT THIS TIME IN THEIR LIVES. | | | | If I had children in school today, I would be worried about the lack of self-esteem among students which leads to bullying, violence, and psychological problems. | | | | Next Page |
